PREGNANT WITH FIRST BABY IN WASHINGTON

Hello! My name is Jen and welcome to my introduction blog! I am currently a 40-year-old stay at home mother of 2 and have one more on the way this May of 2025. In recent years I have searched for a cumulative place where I could gather information and encouragement on a path to natural fertility and homemaking. I had a difficult time finding such a place, so my solution was to create one. So here we are! I hope to provide relatable content as I learn and grow myself in these life phases that I was dealt. I hope to inspire and encourage anyone who is interested in building a family now or in the future. It is NOT too late to connect back with your natural self and to live out your homemaking dreams

I know in my experience I waited to begin trying to build a family. So many working parts go into it and for me they didn’t all come together until I was 34 years old. For my first pregnancy I turned from 34 to 35 and was informed that my pregnancy was now ‘high risk’ because of my geriatric womb. I thought; “how insulting!” I felt discouraged, but in navigating my way through my first pregnancy with this label I learned some tips and tricks that I hope to share. I hope and pray I can alleviate any discouragement for other moms. After giving birth to my first born naturally, we wanted to try for more children. I then suffered from 3 pregnancy losses in a row, I was again left feeling so discouraged. I was able to once again navigate my way to through my fertility issues and have now gotten pregnant two times in a row successfully (and naturally).

My hope is to encourage anyone who is hoping to build a family later in life. It is a multifaceted approach and while I am NO EXPERT, I am human like you and think that some ideas and efforts are better than the alternative. Thank you for your time and please fill in your email information to get these blogs delivered to your email. I look forward to you joining me on this adventure!
